Who we are

What we collect
If you request the free checklists we collect your first name, email address, and the two optional answers about your stage and where you live. We record the page you came from and your IP address to detect spam. We do not collect anything else. The calculators and the self-check run in your browser and do not send your numbers anywhere.
Why, and on what basis
To email you the checklists you asked for and, with your consent, occasional emails with downsizing tips. The basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email with "unsubscribe" or emailing hello@downsizingforretirement.co.uk.
Who we share it with
Our email and hosting providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your details and we do not pass them to advisers, agents, developers or advertisers. If you click through to a business from our "get help" page, that is you contacting them directly and their privacy notice applies.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, or after two years of not opening our emails, whichever is sooner.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
